Terms of Use
These Terms of Use apply to your access to miltoncustomclosets.ca and to information you send through the website. They explain what the website content means, how early project conversations and estimates should be understood, and the limits of information shown online. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy. A written quotation or project agreement, if one is later provided and accepted, should describe the specific scope, price and responsibilities for that project.
Using the website does not by itself order cabinetry, reserve an installation date or create a final project agreement. The site offers general information about custom closets and residential storage. Designs, materials, scheduling and site work are specific to the property and must be confirmed in the relevant written scope.
Website information and design guidance
Articles, guides, photographs and service descriptions are intended to help homeowners understand storage options and prepare useful questions. They are general information, not a measurement of your room or a promise that a pictured configuration is feasible for your property. Dimensions, access, existing surfaces, door movements and the belongings to be stored can change the appropriate solution. Illustrative descriptions of a feature do not mean it is included in every project.
We try to keep website information useful and current, but content may be simplified, incomplete or changed after publication. Technical details, product availability and building conditions require project-specific verification. You should not purchase other materials, remove existing fixtures or schedule related trades solely on the basis of a website article or an early conversation. Ask for a written project description before acting on a proposed configuration.
Inquiries and early estimates
Submitting a form, sending photographs or making a telephone inquiry begins a conversation. It does not guarantee that a consultation, design, quotation or installation will be available, or that a requested date can be met. A preliminary discussion may rely on information supplied by the homeowner and may describe options or a planning range. Unless clearly stated otherwise in a later written document, such information is not a fixed price or an accepted order.
A meaningful estimate depends on confirmed dimensions, chosen materials and components, existing conditions, delivery and installation access, and the work expressly included. A change to drawers, doors, finish, wall coverage or the condition of the room can change the price or schedule. If a written quotation is issued, read its assumptions, exclusions, expiry, taxes, payment terms and revision process. The written quotation or agreement governs the agreed scope where it differs from general website content.
Measurements and drawings
Measurements supplied by a homeowner are useful for initial planning but may be approximate. Walls, floors and ceilings may be out of square, and trim or door tracks can reduce usable space. Drawings or descriptions prepared from unverified measurements should be treated as preliminary. Final dimensions and the relationship of the proposed storage to doors, outlets, vents, windows and access points should be confirmed before fabrication or installation is authorized.
You should identify known property conditions and provide access to the spaces being discussed when a measure is arranged. Do not conceal an obstacle shown on a plan; raise it for review. Changes discovered during site verification may require a revised layout, price or schedule. A measured design should also be checked for its intended daily use, including drawer extension, door swing and passage, before final approval.
Existing room and property conditions
Storage installation can be affected by uneven walls or floors, hidden services, damaged substrates, moisture, prior alterations, inaccessible fixing points and other property conditions. A website photograph cannot establish what is behind a wall or beneath an existing closet. The scope of removal, patching, painting, trim adjustment, disposal or other preparation should be stated in the written project document if included. Work beyond that stated scope may require separate assessment and agreement.
Homeowners should disclose known restrictions, access requirements and any building or property rules relevant to work in the space. Any needed permissions or work by another trade should be clarified before the installation is scheduled. A storage discussion does not by itself include electrical changes, structural alterations, fireplace work or unrelated renovations. Do not assume an adjacent element shown in a photograph is supplied or installed as part of a closet or built-in package.
Materials, finishes and hardware
Website photographs and screens can display colours differently because of lighting, cameras and device settings. Wood-look patterns, grain appearance, sheen and material batches may vary. Physical finish swatches, where available, should be considered in the home’s lighting and alongside existing flooring, trim and furniture. A description of a finish online is not a guarantee of an exact match to another product or an existing surface.
Panel materials, shelf adjustability, fronts, edge treatment, pulls, hinges, drawer slides and other hardware should be identified in a written specification when important to the decision. Availability can change. If an identified product is unavailable, a substitution should be discussed and recorded rather than assumed. Specialty accessories, lighting coordination and other optional features require explicit inclusion in the scope. An image may show an arrangement or decor that is not part of the cabinetry supplied.
Installation, access and scheduling
An installation date, if discussed, may depend on finalized measurements, design approval, material availability, site readiness and access. A written project agreement should explain any schedule commitments and the process for changes. The area may need to be emptied or prepared before work begins; the project-specific instructions should identify what the homeowner is expected to do and what work is included.
Reasonable access for delivery and installation can include the ability to reach the room, bring components through doors or stairs and work safely around furniture. Parking, building access and occupied areas can affect the plan. If a condition makes the originally described installation impractical, the parties should review the needed adjustment and its effect on the scope, cost or schedule before proceeding. Website content cannot anticipate every property-specific constraint.
Photographs, galleries and appearance
Images on the site communicate storage arrangements, component relationships, proportions or finishes. A photograph does not prove that the same layout will fit your room, that a particular product is available, or that every visible object is included. Lighting, furniture, mirrors, electronics, decor and surrounding finishes may be outside a storage project. Captions should be read as descriptions of visible configurations, not as a project specification or a statement of performance.
Before approving work, rely on the written drawing, materials and scope prepared for your space. If a detail in an image matters to you, identify it explicitly so its feasibility and inclusion can be discussed. A gallery image should never be used as a substitute for the dimensions and conditions of your own property.
Acceptable use of the site
You may browse the website and use its contact options for genuine questions about storage projects. Do not attempt to interfere with its operation, bypass security measures, introduce harmful code, overload forms or submit material you lack the right to share. Do not impersonate someone else or include another person’s personal information without a proper reason and authority. Files uploaded with a project request should relate to that project and should not contain unlawful or harmful material.
We may restrict or investigate misuse of the website as appropriate. Availability is not guaranteed: maintenance, network conditions or technical problems can interrupt access. If a form does not appear to submit correctly, avoid repeated unnecessary disclosure and use another contact method shown on the site. We cannot ensure that every device, browser or external connection works identically.
Intellectual property and external links
Text, branding, layout and other original website elements are presented for personal review in connection with a potential storage project. You may make ordinary copies for your own reference, but do not reproduce substantial content, use the brand as your own or commercially distribute the site’s materials without permission. Third-party marks and content, where present, belong to their respective owners.
The site may link to external pages for context. A link does not make that website part of these terms or guarantee its accuracy, safety or availability. External sites control their own content, privacy practices and terms. Decide whether to use them after reviewing their policies. A link’s presence is not a promise that a particular product, standard or method will be used in a project.
Limits and changes
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its general information are provided without a guarantee that every description is complete, error free or suitable for a particular room. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any responsibilities for an agreed project should be read from the later written project documents and applicable law, rather than inferred from a general article or image.
These website terms may be revised as content, forms or practices change. The version posted when you visit is the version available for that visit. A material change to a specific accepted project should be handled under its written agreement, not by silently changing a website page. Questions about a proposed scope, a website statement or these terms can be emailed to with the relevant page or project reference.
